Sudoku Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

This policy covers Sudoku (Android package com.boopfun.sudoku), the offline puzzle game operated by BOOPFUN LIMITED ("we", "us"). It describes the Google Play version without advertising, in-app purchases, accounts or gameplay analytics reporting. It does not describe our other games.

2. Information handled by the game

You can play without registering an account or providing personal information. The game does not collect or share players' personal data with us or third parties.

This version does not request the Android Internet permission, so it cannot send data off your device. It contains no advertising, analytics, attribution or sign-in software libraries. The only device permission it requests is vibration, used for optional touch feedback that you can switch off in Settings.

The game does not request your name, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or location. To display its interface, the game reads the screen dimensions and safe area locally. It does not save or transmit this information.

3. Local progress and settings

The game stores on your device: which puzzles you have played at each difficulty; the state of an unfinished game (the grid, your notes, elapsed time, score, mistakes and hints used); your statistics (games started and won, best time and best score at each difficulty); your settings; and your acceptance of the terms and this policy. These data let you resume play and keep your choices. They are not uploaded to our servers. There is no game account or developer-operated cloud-save service.

4. Retention and deletion

Local game data remain on the device until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. On Android, open your device's Settings, find Sudoku under Apps, then open its storage settings and choose the option to clear data or storage. Names vary by device. This resets your progress, statistics, preferences and acceptance record. Uninstalling also removes the installed app's local data.

Device backup and restoration are controlled by your operating system and backup settings. If a backup exists, your system may restore local data after reinstallation. Manage or delete those backups through the relevant device or backup service settings.

We do not hold a server copy of your game save and cannot restore or remotely delete it. There is no game account to delete.

5. Support emails and this website

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide. We use that information to respond, investigate your request and meet applicable legal obligations. Please do not send passwords, identity documents or unnecessary personal information. Parents or guardians may contact us on a child's behalf.

Our email service providers process this correspondence to deliver and store it. We keep it only as long as needed to address the request and any related legal obligations. You can ask us to access, correct or delete that correspondence by emailing the address above. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a copy or complain to a relevant privacy authority. We assess requests under the law that applies.

The game shows a privacy notice and its terms inside the app without opening a browser. This page uses no advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. When you visit it, your browser and our website hosting provider process the IP address and ordinary request information needed to deliver the page and protect the service. Visiting this page is separate from gameplay; it does not upload your local game save.

6. Children and families

You must be at least 13 years old to play Sudoku. In the European Union, you must be at least 16 years old. If you are below the applicable minimum age, do not use the game. We do not ask for a birth date or verify each player's age. Parents and guardians should guide minors' use and can use the device's or store's parental controls.

If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so that we can review the request and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.

7. Platform services and security

Google Play, your operating system, browser and any device backup service may independently process information under their own policies and your settings. Their handling is not a game-operated account, analytics or cloud-save feature. See Google's Privacy Policy for Google's services.

Local data are stored in the app's device storage. Protect your device with its available security controls. This policy is delivered over HTTPS. No online system or device can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Policy changes

We will update this page and its effective date if our practices change. If a future version adds online services, analytics or advertising, we will explain it before that processing starts and provide any notice or choice required by applicable law. Agreement to the game's terms is not consent to a future advertising or analytics service.
